Tapeboard on your phone

The phone version of Tapeboard is built for one hand. It has a bottom bar for your most-used pages, a card view for the Scanner, a practice trading screen with market replay, and a quick alert form. Install it to your home screen first if you have not: Install the Tapeboard app.

How to move around with the bottom bar

1. Look at the bar at the bottom of the screen. It starts with Home, Scanner, Watchlist, Simulator and Journal, plus More at the right end.
2. Tap a page to open it.
3. Tap More to see every other page: Charts, News, Alerts, Academy, Settings, Billing, Heatmap, Movers, Halts, Economic, Crypto and the rest. Type in Search pages… at the top of the sheet to find one fast.
4. Ticker search is in the header at the top of the screen.

How to change the bottom bar

1. Tap More, then Customize nav.
2. Tap pages to add or remove them. The counter shows how many of 5 slots you have used.
3. Tap Reset to go back to the default bar, Cancel to leave things as they were, or Save to keep your bar.

More always stays on the bar. Your choices are kept on this phone.

How to scan on a phone

1. Tap Scanner on the bottom bar.
2. Pick a scan from the tabs across the top, such as Momentum Now. Tap More in that row for the others.
3. Scroll the cards. Each card shows the ticker, price, change and volume, with Chart, Sim Trade and Watchlist buttons.
4. Swipe a card right to open its chart. Swipe it left to add it to your watchlist.
5. Tap the Cards button at the right of the sort chips to switch to Dense, a one-line-per-ticker list. Tap it again to go back.

Panel Grid, the multi-panel layout, is desktop only.

How to chart on a phone

1. Tap a card's Chart button, or open Charts from More.
2. Pick a timeframe from the single dropdown above the chart.

How to practice trade and replay on a phone

1. Tap Simulator on the bottom bar. You can play without an account.
2. Pick a ticker and size, then use the buy and sell buttons in the order ticket.
3. To replay a past day, open Market Replay at the bottom of the screen and pick a day.
4. Tap Start. Use play and pause, step forward, and the speed button. Drag the slider to jump around. Tap ✕ to leave replay.

How to set an alert on a phone

1. Open More, then Alerts.
2. Type the ticker in Symbol.
3. Choose a Condition: Above, Below, % Move or Volume, then enter the number.
4. Under How often, choose Once, Once a day or Every time.
5. Tap + Create. The alert appears in your list below, where you can delete it.

• Pull down on the page to refresh in the installed app.
• Free accounts can keep 3 alerts. Pro has no limit.

If something doesn't work

• The bar looks different from this page: you changed it earlier. Tap More, Customize nav, then Reset.
• Swiping a card scrolls the page instead: swipe more sideways than up and down.
• No Market Replay bar: it sits above the bottom bar on the Simulator screen. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
