Tapeboard Manual
Reference docs for every surface in the terminal. Brutalist by design: answers first, no preamble, monospace throughout.

FEATURES
-
ALERTS FREE
Rules fire on price, percent, volume, or indicator crossings; cadence is per-rule (once / daily / every); channels are per-kind (in-app, device push, sound, email) with one master mute and real quiet hours.
-
NOTIFICATIONS FREE
The inbox is where every alert service writes: price triggers, watchlist mover pings, simulator fills, earnings, halts, news, digests. Read on /notifications or via the header bell — same stream, same count.
-
JOURNAL FREE ⌘7
The Tapeboard Journal is a six-tab trade log - Dashboard, Trade Log, Reports, Calendar, Playbooks, AI Analysis - built on one unified, account-size-agnostic stats engine. It computes a 0-100 Tape Score with an A-F grade, scores rule-defined Playbooks for machine-checkable adherence, auto-logs simulator trades, turns any trade into a privacy-safe share link, and ships eleven analytics reports with free broker CSV import across 10 brokers (plus a generic column-mapping wizard for any other broker and for options trades), a post-import stats summary, and live broker sync. This guide assumes zero trading experience and explains every term inline.
-
SIMULATOR FREE ⌘6
A full practice desk for paper trading: fake money, real mechanics. You start with a $25,000 practice account by default (presets run $5,000 to $100,000, or type your own), six order types, a three-pane chart with drawing tools, Market Replay to relive recent sessions, and a realism model that never turns off: real spread, volume-scaled slippage, fees, and honest margin math. Every close auto-logs to your journal when you're signed in.
